For sale Russian Antique Icon Sterling Silver Gold Plated with enamels100 Original Item in Good condition14cm x 17cm7 X 5,5 inchThe Iveron Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos , or the Gatekeeper , or the Gatekeeper ( Greek: Πορταΐτισσα — Portaitissa ) is an Orthodox icon of the Virgin Mary with the Child , revered as miraculous [1] . Belongs to the Hodegetria iconographic type . The original is in the Iveron Monastery on Mount Athos , Greece .
