Approx 3″ X 4 1/2″, in great condition – with minor flattened stress/bend lines – the white lines seen on the front. What a Beautiful card! They therefore show no information at all except “label was created”.
The Antique Ansonia Regulator Wall Clock, made in 1882, is a rare and valuable piece from the Edwardian era. Its out in the sun patio. I feel better knowing our pets cant get to it. I distinctly heard it tick.
However, I cannot confirm whether the violin bow (the removable bow held across the violin strings) is original. It is included as shown in the photos and is being sold without representation as original.
Clock is tested and working. I let it run for 3 hours plus before listing. It still may need work from a professional. I do not know if it will run for as long as it did when it was first made, please understand that this clock is 140+ years old and I am not responsible if something goes mechanically wrong with it. Not sure if it needs to be adjusted as far as going too fast or slow. Has some surface wear, missing paint and rust. May need cleaning. Comes with 2 winding keys, the larger key has the hole for raising/lowering the weighted pendulum. Please review pictures
This Antonio clock is working correctly. It is chiming on the half hour with one strike and striking correctly on the hour. EG if it’s 5:00 five strikes. It is a heavy clock. The clock face is worn in the cover is missing.
The Antique Ansonia Beehive Clock with Frosted Glass from 1882 is a rare and valuable desk clock collectible.
