Beautiful obverse painted lamp with fantastic, deep green base and chain pulls. Nice winter farm scene, slightly more detailed on the front. The lamp has been rewired recently with a period cloth-wrapped cord with an “acorn-style” plug. Apparently, somewhere in its life, someone painted the ceiling and got speckles on the shade, which are not visible when the lamp is illuminated, or could they be from a recent snowfall? It’s a lovely lamp, it’s sure to get attention anywhere you use it.

Fabulous antique lamp. The base features traditional swags, corbels and other architectural hallmarks. The base has been painted – likely long ago – the color varies depending on the lighting. The cluster socket with pull chains appears to be original and the chains pull smoothly.
