A gorgeous silk in a unique intricate weave in the realm of bargello or ikat weaves. I believe the salmon toned base is most likely a cotton or cotton, silk & fine lighter wool. Outstanding textile in amazing colors~ red, blue, green & yellow.
She features a cream-white glazed flowing gown, hand-painted facial features/hair, and stands gracefully on a classic roped circular pedestal base. – Markings: The hollow bottom features an incised style/mold number (starting with 018.) along the unglazed base rim, typical of mid-century German (Thuringian) or high-quality Occupied Japan export wares.

As-found condition. Could use a cleaning. There is a little roughness on the top and bottom edges, but I think that is original. Pinkish background. Windmill with trees and orange hill or pile of grain.
