Here is a vintage “Delicious Recipes including Toll House Chocolate Cookies” recipe booklet for Nestle’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate. Copyright 1939, by Lamont, Corliss & Co. Printed in the U.S.A. This was a promotional item given out by a grocer’s store. Stamped in red on the back cover is “Keefer’s Sanitary Grocery Westminster, Md.” I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. Approx. 5 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. This booklet has 12 pages (not including the cover).
Direct from Sweden, this is a vintage Nils Johan, round copper mold. It is embossed with a sailing ship and the brass mounting ring clip is stamped with “Sweden.” This is a food mold but now looks great as a kitchen decoration. This particular piece showcases the softness of the copper material with minor dents as pictured. At the widest it measures approximately 7.25 inches. Some tarnishing may occur between the time of the picture and receiving your item.
