This set of 2 surfing beach couple figurines brings a cheerful coastal accent to a shelf, mantel, vanity, desk, or bathroom counter. Each freestanding figure measures 5.75 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide, and 2 inches deep, with matching scale so the pair displays neatly together or on separate surfaces. Made from resin, the figures are hand painted in aqua, seafoam, white, and warm skin tones. The man wears teal swim shorts with sunglasses on his head, and the woman wears a wide hat with bow and a striped one-piece suit. Both hold white surfboards decorated with aqua swirl designs. The set includes two figurines and works well for beach house decor, ocean themed rooms, summer displays, and body-positive collectible displays. Dust gently with a dry soft cloth.
This vintage Pairpoint Glass cup plate features an adaptation of the famous Equestrian portrait of Don Jose Andres Sepulveda, painted by the artist Henri Joseph Penelon. Commissioned by the Bowers Museum of Santa Ana, CA, this limited edition cup plate was crafted with attention to detail. Handcrafted on Cape Cod using time-honored techniques, these 3.5 inch cup plates have subtle variations that highlight the artisan’s skill. Each cup plate is crafted using a mold created with a hammer and chisel, and then pressed with molten glass using an antique press. This manufacturing process results in cup plates that are similar yet possess their own distinctive characteristics. Look closely and you’ll find the artisan’s initials and the Pairpoint trademark within the design.
