FULLY RESTORED STANLEY NO 5 PLANE THIS PLANE WILL PROBABLY DATE BACK TO THE 1960s WHEN STANLEY ADDED THE HEAVIER RIBBED CASTING. A LITTLE HEAVIER THAN THE EARLIER MODELS , THE SOLE IS FLAT, A FULL LENGTH IRON THAT IS GROUND AND SHARPENED. THE ORIGINAL HANDLE WHICH WAS DAMAGED HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A NEW REAR HANDLE AND A LOW FRONT KNOB IN ROSEWOOD. TAKES A CLEAN FINE SHAVING. CONDITION EXACTLY AS PER PHOTOS.
