You never know when we will run across that item that you just cant live without! For the most part, I use recycled boxes to keep my costs low.
The sheath is 6″ long (not including hide fringe), and tapers from 2-1/2″ to 2 wide, the beadwork is 99% intact.

Not really sure what the history is of this particular item and the people at Iowa State were able to help nor was the Ames historical Society. My best guess is Meskwaki which was also the Iowa State professor’s guess. Definitely fragile
