Elephants on Parade, Jaipur, c1910, Rajasthan. The back of the card, numbered “505—(12554)”, elaborates on the scene with the title: “ELEPHANTS ON PARADE, JAIPUR, INDIA”. It highlights the elaborate decking of the elephants seen in the view, noting their gold or silver tusks, rich lace, and silken saddle blankets.
