Hand forged damascus steel blade. Handle is made of brass and horn. Wood scabbard with brass bands. Bands are decorated with Turkish moon and star, sword, and star. Blade fits very tightly into scabbard.
Unlike standard unmarked pieces, this sword bears the Y.F SHYTH stamp beneath the crescent and three stars on the gilt brass bolster. The hilt has original dark horn scales featuring the bullseye brass rosettes.
