Here are a very nice Automatic Electric telephone number dial cards and Lucite discs exactly like the original. There is also North Electric and Kellogg for AE dials There are 10 different styles of cards. They are numbered 1 thru 10. You will get 2 of the same cards and 2 plastic discs for the offered price of $5.14 After your purchase please let us know which number or numbers you would like.
Since this Automatic Electric model AE-43 has no dial, it was probably used as an extensionor in systems where an operator connected calls. Body of phone slides down to reveal inner wiring along with schematics.
Vintage 1940s Phillips B-7803-1 Monophone in Black Bakelite (simichrome tested) with original plug. It is a heavy piece weighing 6.4 lbs. It is largely as found as I’ve only wiped with a damp cloth. Copying the condition description here: I see two cracks in the Black Bakelite phone body – please see the final two photos where these are highlighted. This is nearly an antique so there is other expected wear such as dullness on the phone body and handset. Untested but it has a nice ‘ping’ bell sound. It needs a good cleaning. Even with the cracks it is an interesting visual piece and great for display if not use. I will look for the best and least expensive shipping option and refund any overage e.g. I’ll Large Flat Rate if that is best for your location.
