I did not test. I know nothing about fountain pens. My research shows 14k gold #5 with an f for fine tip?! Please see all pix or ask questions and i will try to answer. The inside of the box has been scribbled in. Sad. Pens in fantastic shape. I dont know if they have ever been used.
