These fascinating artworks were hand wheeled or hand built with various kinds of clay, and without putting on any glaze, fired in a traditional kiln with wood for at least 72 hours. An important property of wood-fired unglazed tea-ware is that, since most of the surface remain porous (unless covered with ash glaze or kiln sweat), they can bond with the minerals in water and therefore soften the tea water.
This handmade mug features a rustic design with a speckled dark glaze, showcasing a natural ground and pine trees pattern. The unglazed bottom adds a unique touch to this mug, making it perfect for all occasions. With a capacity of 14oz, this mug is suitable for both hot and cold beverages. Made from speckled stoneware, this mug is designed for tea and coffee enthusiasts who appreciate handmade craftsmanship and a touch of nature in their daily routine. The mug is 4 inches in height and 4 inches in width, making it a practical and stylish addition to any kitchen or home decor. See what you will purchase with the detailed photos provided. Goebel Sacrart W Germany Hummel figurine Madonna Mary Baby Jesus HM 118 unglazed no box. This are some markings on it if you close in the photos.
This is a one owner Porcelain Pony made in Germany by Goebel, purchased in England in the early 1970’s. No paint, no gloss, it is matte white, and oh so cute (which is why this 1970’s horse crazed kid bought it. I didn’t even know that Goebel’s Hummels were a thing until decades later. I just thought this was a cute pony and I had a bit of spending money in my little girl purse). Pony has been packed away in a box since around 1980. Smoke free home. SIZE: approximately 5” long and 4” high. No chips or cracks. I have included multiple photos so you can have a good look at it. Pony will ship via USPS Priority Mail, courtesy of seller, USA only. Price is considered fair and competitive, no counter offers, please. Thank you.
