Beautiful porcelain king cake piece by the famous New Orleans Bakery, Haydel's. The piece is BRAND NEW in its original bag, never displayed. King cakes are a Mardi Gras staple, and Haydel's makes the best in town. The collectible piece is included with the king cake, inside a plastic bag, not inside the cake, as the tradition is to put a small plastic king cake baby inside, and whoever gets the baby has to buy the next king cake for the group. This one is the parade ARTIST PROOF version of the rare JEFFERSON BUZZARDS FLOAT, from 2015. Artist Proof pieces are brighter, note the gold accents on the front, sides and back, for an amazing presentation.
