This really nice old slanted jar features a forward-slanted design, allowing it to rest securely on its flat multi-faceted sides on a general store counter. This angle provided easy, self-serve access for customers reaching in for penny candy, biscuits or pickles. It comes equipped with its classic vintage round tin lid (which is attached), and over time has developed a weathered patina. It is in excellent condition with no chips to the glass. It measures 9 3/4 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 11 1/2 inches deep. It would be wonderful to put candy in, a cookie jar or for storage in a kitchen.
