A beautiful antique Victorian wax seal featuring a hand-carved white agate (chalcedony) intaglio depicting a three-masted sailing ship. The seal is set in an ornate decorative mount with floral detailing, making it a wonderful piece for collectors of wax seals, maritime antiques, or Victorian desk accessories. The stone displays a nicely carved ship design with good detail. I believe there may be a very small chip along the edge of the agate, so please review the close-up photos carefully and judge the condition for yourself.
